It's defenitely one of those movies that I have to stay away from cause the differences would piss me of. And if we're talking about blasphemy then I want to add the kamehameha, it just looks cheap. it looks like a rasengan beeing shot more then kamehameha. Or the biggest one, Goku's hair. It doesn't even look similar. Hell he looks more like Gohan then Goku. They should've casted Schwarzenegger for the role, at least he has the body for playing him. |
Have you seen Schwarzenegger lately? But yeah, that kamehameha looks cheap. _________________ Ranma! You I kill! Shampoo from

Can't say I have, all I know is he's doing a horrible job as governor. Or at least that's what the article said that was mocking him in the newspaper or tv-guide that I recently read.
Stallone then? He's making a comeback with his Rambo / Rocky anyway but Goku ain't a shorty . _________________

I have to disagree but I'm not gonna argue your view point as it's a valid one. Sometimes though it takes crap to make something better. An example would have to be the batman movies. The first 3 all sucked then when Batman Begins came out it got better... |
I'm not completely sure of this since I was only a kid (6-7 years) when I saw the first Batman movie but I'm still quite sure they were a hit back then and saying that they sucked is blasphemy (or at least imo).
I don't know how old you are but seems to me you're a youngster that saw the recent Batman movies and went seeing the old Batman movies and take an easy diss on them. Michelle Pheipher as catwoman was and still is epic, even as a lil boy (9-10) I thougth she was hot as hell.
And I think you're mistaking true fans with collectors since only collectors would collect crap. |
I saw the original batman movies before batman begins came out and I thought they sucked however I like the King Arthur movie a lot and people thought it sucked horribly even though they were trying to be more historically accurate...
I still plan on seeing the DB movie it looks good now I'm still a hardcore fan ;p _________________

Didn't read the previous posts
anyway saw it on youtube today, dunno if it is real
but Toei is going to redo dragonball z anime style on the tv
from 200 - 300 eps to cut down to around 100 eps
they're going to re-render the series and everything like that so its so cool
all the voices will be redone but obviously not the ones that died.
The release date of it will be 5th of April, damn I can't wait
This is a war between the silver screen and the wide screen tvs
I buy wide screen tvs

just out of curiosity has anyone been watching Dragon Ball Kai? the pace is extremely smooth on it, i couldn't believe how fast they got through Raditz already. _________________ Templar to the Goddess

Well, AFAIK that was the whole damn point of te remake: same old DBZ but ultracompressed from 500+ into 150+ (random aproximations). Well, that and to keep squeezing more cash out of the franchise. _________________ there are 3 things a man can't have enough of: love, money and knowledge |

true it is squeezing more cash out of it by remaking the series like this, but honestly this is pretty good way to do it. i love the pace and it's giving me nostalgia all the same. good combination there. _________________ Templar to the Goddess

I'm watching it. It's my first time through the show actually, and I'm pretty much loving it. It holds candle to a lot of current anime's. |

Alot of people do now. But the fillers in the anime are what made the series too in all these crazy years. _________________ Ranma! You I kill! Shampoo from

I haven't seen it really. But I may just look it up because I know I can watch that show over and over again. I'am such a die hard Vegeta fan girl. I could watch him run around screaming at Goku for ages. >.<
I did however hear about the movie. I heard it was such a load of fail that I have decided to avoid it all together. |
